MEET THE PROVIDERS
My name is Lisa Kasar. I have been a licensed childcare provider since 1990. I have completed many hours of coursework at the local colleges in Child Development, Child Psychology and Psychology during this time. I have been nationally accredited by the National Association of Family Child Care. (NAFCC) I have received my CDA (Child Development Associate) from the national council in Washington.
I attend conferences several times a year and continue to attend classes and workshops relevant to development and children. I have taken DCFS required courses in ADA training. I am licensed by the State of Illinois through the Department of Children and Family Services. (DCFS) I am also Red Cross Certified in CPR (Infant, Child and Adult) and in First Aid. I am a member of a local day care association. (The Lisle Naperville Family Child Care Association) I also serve on the executive board as the President of that association. I am a member of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), The Dupage Association for the Education of the Young Child (DAEYC) and The National Association for the Education of the Young Child (NAEYC). I am also a member of the Naperville Junior Woman's Club which sponsors Safety Town and fundraises for local charitable organizations.
I am often asked to develop and present workshops and trainings to help train and guide other child care providers. I have been asked to speak at various child care conferences & gatherings.
I serve as a mentor to accreditation candidates and as an advisor to providers working to achieve their CDA certifications.
I have been married since 1985 and have two beautiful children, (Now young adults) Emily and Aaron. My husband, Emrah Kasar is my partner in our child care business. Emrah majored in Elementary Education in his college years. He has been working in our childcare since 1995. He is well versed in Child Development, attends conferences and work shops each year and is Red Cross Certified in CPR (Child, Adult and Infant) and in First Aid. He is a member of the Lisle Naperville Family Child Care Association and also holds a position on the Executive Board of that organization.
